What You'll Do

Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, from newborns to geriatrics
Manage 85-95 patient visits daily, including MS, respiratory, cardiac, trauma, and mental health cases
Handle IV starts, continuous monitoring, and assessment of patient severity, prioritizing care needs
Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless patient flow
Document accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to protocols and supporting team members
Support patient admission, stabilization, and discharge processes
What You Need
Required:

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS certifications
• 2+ years of recent ER or acute care experience
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Strong multitasking, assessment, and patient management skills

Preferred:
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR and unit-specific equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, traveler-friendly environment
About the Assignment This ER RN position is based at a high-volume emergency department with 21 beds, serving a wide variety of patient conditions. The unit operates on a 5/2 schedule with weekend rotations, providing opportunities for a balanced work-life dynamic. Staff support includes access to hospitalist services, RT, phlebotomy, and a team dedicated to your success. You will be integral to providing urgent and emergent care to a diverse patient demographic.
