Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: North Naples, FL
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 5x8.0 shift
Job Description: As an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant, you will embrace the core values of Select Medical by delivering superior quality care. You will work collaboratively with a team to ensure patient and employee safety while providing therapeutic interventions for various patient needs.
Responsibilities:

Implement treatment goals and plans established by the Physical Therapist.
Assisting in therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening exercises, balance exercises, and pain relief techniques.
Train patients in locomotion using assistive devices and demonstrate proper techniques.
Utilize various modalities for treatment and monitor patient responses.
Document patient progress and engage family in education and participation.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients and staff.
Comply with all clinic policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Participate in special projects to enhance patient care quality and efficiency.
Maintain a clean treatment area and manage equipment safely.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an Accredited School.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license for the state where work will be performed.
• Previous experience with Select Medical is highly desired.
