Field Service Engineering

Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri. Our AES Field Service Engineer will be responsible for startups, emergency repairs, modifications, testing, retrofits, modernizations, upgrades and warranty on electrical power distribution, control and switchgear. Safely and repeatedly lifting components weighing up to 115 pounds without assistanceSafely lifting, carrying, and lowering components weighing up to 65 pounds without assistanceFrequent pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy materialsClimbing on and off equipment and working at varying heightsStanding, bending, and working in physically demanding positions for extended periodsSafely operating tools and equipmentOur Ideal Candidate:3+ years in Field Service Engineering is desiredElectrical Engineering (BS or AS preferred ) experience and / or military service performing job dutiesDiesel and or gas power generation related controls experienceExperience with programming PLC’s & HMI’s & data collection devices (SCADA / BMS systems )Strong background in electrical power systems to include switchgear and controlsAC/DC voltage trouble shooting skills related to power generation ( Generators, switchgear & ATS’s )Reading schematics and prints and control automation drawingsExperience with diagnostic softwareIndustry knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, ANSI/NETA and ULAbout Foley Equipment:Foley Industries - Foley Equipment, Foley Power Solutions, Foley Rental and SITECH Central - enters its ninth decade of empowering progress for customers in Kansas and Western Missouri.
