Monday-Friday | No Call | No Nights | No Weekends
We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist to serve as Medical Director within a well-established inpatient rehabilitation facility. This position offers the rare combination of meaningful clinical leadership and a predictable weekday schedule - allowing you to expand your impact while maintaining control over your time.
As Medical Director, you will provide hands-on inpatient care while shaping the clinical direction of the rehabilitation program.
Provide daily inpatient medical management for rehabilitation patients
Oversee care for medically complex patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
Partner closely with therapy, nursing, and case management teams to optimize patient outcomes
Serve as a physician leader and mentor within the facility
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Minimum 2+ years of experience in inpatient rehab, LTAC, SNF, or acute care
Commitment to quality, patient-centered care
True Monday-Friday schedule
