Together, we guide families on their journey back to independence and into permanent housing.ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the facility is maintained, sanitary, and compliant with regulations.Supervise operations staff, overseeing for 24-hour security, fire safety, crisis intervention, and communications.Manage on-site human recourses functions, including staff hiring, evaluation, supervision, training, and terminationPlan, develop and implement program policy for the facilityParticipate in fundraising activities and lead or coordinate proposal writing.Manage the collection and presentation of clients, administrative, and program data.Develop and manage the annual operating budgetRepresent agency at interagency meetingsPerform additional duties assignedQualificationsMaster's degree in social work or Mental Health and a LMSW or LMHC license.A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years supervisory and contract management experienceExperience working with governmental agenciesExtensive experience working with multi-problem familiesPhysical RequirementsAbility to use a computer for prolonged periods.Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents.Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation.Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work.This commitment applies to all terms, conditions, and privileges of employment, including but not limited to recruitment, hiring, compensation, training and employee development, placement, promotion, demotion, upgrading, downgrading, transfer, layoff and termination.
