As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for and accountable for collecting and transporting donated merchandise while providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

Assist in loading/unloading of trailers

Responsible for securing truck/trailer loads at each stop prior to departure

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required

Comply with Goodwill of North Georgia's safety and security policies and procedures

Maintain current Department of Transportation (D.Commercial Driver's License (CDL) requirements

Ensure security of all company assets including merchandise and property

Follow all state driving laws including cell phone/texting laws.

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Current Georgia Commercial Drivers License (CDL) "Class B" license required.

Must have and maintain a valid Georgia issued drivers license while maintaining a good driving record and meeting the standards of the agency's insurance carriers

Must pass Department of Transportation (D.medical physical annually

Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills

Ability to comply with Federal vaccine mandate per contract site with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Must be available to work Monday through Sunday during operating hours as needed for business operations
