Registered Nurse Travel Job Telemetry Shift Nights

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months within the last 6 months.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live 50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.
Strong cardiac telemetry background required.
Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters.
Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips.
MS/Tele travelers do not need prior travel experience.
Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details:
Will care for ED hold patients awaiting inpatient bed placement, primarily MS/Tele, with more telemetry patients than medical patients.
May help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration, but will not be the primary RN for ED patient assignments.
Titrates cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone.
No monitor tech in the ED; ED PCTs available.
Shift & Scheduling:
Ability to self-schedule; however, this could change from time to time.
4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
Must work 2 of 4 major holidays.
No call required.
Floating Requirements:
First to float to med/surg, telemetry, and overflow units, as well as CRMC/MGMC EDs, as needed.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
