Support the planning, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of secure network infrastructures supporting Department of the Air Force (DAF) mission systems.

• Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices.
• Perform network performance analysis, fault isolation, and root-cause investigations to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Assist with network upgrades, technology refreshes, and the integration of new systems or capabilities.
• Implement and maintain network security controls aligned with DoW and DAF cybersecurity policies.
• Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configuration baselines, SOPs, and change records.
• Provide user support and technical guidance to on-site personnel and mission operators.
• Participate in on-call or after-hours support as required by mission operations.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; 5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise or tactical network environments.

• Working knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking concepts, IP routing, VLANs, ACLs, and basic network security.
• Experience configuring and maintaining common network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, Aruba).
• Ability to perform network troubleshooting using standard tools and methodologies.
• Security+, CCNA Security, CYSA+), or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, and DoW cybersecurity compliance requirements.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, ManageEngine).
• Knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure enclave configurations.
• Experience supporting tactical or austere communications platforms.
• CCNP, JNCIS, Network+ CE).
• May require working in an office, industrial, or laboratory environment.
