Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to a defined patient population using the nursing process.
They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a cost-effective manner.
The RN actively participates in quality improvement initiatives, ongoing education, orientation, and professional development activities, aligning with organizational objectives and upholding the Patient Care Services philosophy.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in related areas (floor or critical care)
Valid RN license (state-specific or multi-state compact)
Current BLS certification
ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications within 6 months of hire (for select units)
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and applicable specialty certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions
Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust as needed
Participate in quality improvement and organizational activities
Contribute to training new staff and students
Uphold professional standards and continuous learning
