Responsible for all warehouse operations, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment. Compensation And Schedule$19.57 per hourMonday - Friday (2pm - 10:30pm) Seasonal Full-Time, Non-ExemptOnsite: 225 Midland Court - McDonough, GA 30253Note: As a seasonal hire you have a defined employment time period - up to 90 days from the date of hire.What You Will DoThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping product in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.Operates machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.Performs inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies.Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution CenterAssists with other warehouse or branch duties as needed.What We're Looking ForMust be 18 years of age or older.High school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to read and speak English.Must have reliable transportation.Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.Ability to work overtime when needed.Ability to work independently without close supervision.Protective Equipment RequiredMust be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). Physical DemandsIn performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift.
