Virtual Nurse Educator

Role Overview: The Flex Nurse Educator delivers remote and in-field educational support to patients with chronic diseases, focusing on medication training and adherence. The position involves virtual engagement via phone, video, email, and secure messaging, with in-person visits during territory vacancies or LOA to ensure seamless coverage.
Key Responsibilities Provide patient education on disease management and medication use, fostering adherence and dialogue with healthcare providers.
Support patients throughout their treatment journey, addressing access barriers and promoting behavioral change.
Maintain accurate documentation, follow protocols, and ensure compliance with KPIs and standards.
Collaborate with team members, participate in training, and assist in onboarding new staff.
Coordinate connections between patients and program resources.
Support ongoing professional development and quality initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills Active RN license; multi-state preferred, with willingness to obtain additional licensure.
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings.
Bilingual in English/Spanish and experience as an ambassador preferred.
Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
Proficiency in virtual platforms, MS Office, and mobile technology.
Ability to travel up to 50%, valid driver’s license, and flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
Additional Details: The role is educational and non-clinical; nurses do not provide medical advice but empower patients to manage their disease and treatment adherence. Private home workspace required, with key focus on patient engagement, compliance, and teamwork.
