The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical/Tele specialty provides direct patient care in a busy acute care hospital setting. The role involves managing a diverse caseload, ensuring patient safety, and delivering quality nursing interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.

Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.

Monitor and document patient responses, vital signs, and clinical observations.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.

Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and hospital policies.

Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.

Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry or Medical Surgical nursing experience.

Tele competency and previous charge nurse experience strongly preferred.

Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
