If you live near Schaumburg, IL or Raleigh NC, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges.Design, development and implement automated tests in an ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) setting using AI tools like CoPilot, Clause, and CodeXWrite and execute automated tests using Cypress, Cucumber, and Type ScriptDeliver test automation solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelinesConstantly evaluate and enhance the test automation strategy and approachMentor and direct other testers in automation and software engineering principlesEnd-to-end testing of the application (Functional, Integration, Regression etc.)Develop in-depth system and application knowledge to provide higher test quality and coverageCollaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user storiesShare and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audienceDocument and review test results with project team to validate that all business and technical requirements have been met and will be covered with our testing processValidate the quality of the product and confirm completion of assignments to meet beta/release deadlinesEnsure compatibility with existing product features and interfaces to other product linesLeverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in CS or IT or engineering related field10+ years of relevant experience in quality engineering7+ years of experience in UI automation (Selenium or Cypress BDD framework experience)7+ years of experience with Acceptance Test Driven developmentUI & API Test Automation 7+ years of experience with VS Code, JMeter, Postman etc.5+ years of experience of Web services testing and automation (REST)3+ years of experience implementing quality engineering practices in a CI / CD pipeline/ environment like Jenkins for executing automated tests2+ years of experience in prompt engineering2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies2+ years of databases and experience in writing SQL queries2+ years of experience with scripting with any of the languages like shell or similarPreferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience with Cypress tool*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
