CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

Shift
This position is available on the afternoon (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM) shift.

Tuition Reimbursement

The purpose of this position is to learn CNC machining processes, procedures, and production skills to ensure the accuracy and consistency of products are achieved to meet customer needs.

Ensures safety is the number one priority for themselves and others by following plant safety standards.

Performs daily production and production related tasks with a high emphasis on quality.

Monitors and adjusts CNC machinery as required; conducts quality checks as outlined in process control plans and work instructions.

Becomes familiar with specifications, document control processes and/or work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence or operations and setup requirements, and verifies conformance of finished work piece.

Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input or edict computerized machine control media.

Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on CNC machines.

Records physical production, inventory changes, and completes all process control and quality documentation as required.

Recommends, supports and helps implement plant continuous improvement projects and problem‑solving efforts; develops an understanding of the plant’s vision to meet business plan objectives.

Load, unload, and inspect product.

Conduct assigned housekeeping and quality tasks.

Participates in plant teams.

Is flexible to work any shift assignment and overtime as needed. High School Diploma or GED.

High School Diploma or GED with two years of experience in manufacturing machining, preferably CNC machining.

Continuous standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, reaching and manual manipulation of parts.

Manufacturing work environment with moderate exposure to unusual elements such as wet and/or humid conditions. Operates forklift and similar machinery and equipment.
