Housekeeper WE OFFER DAILY PAY

The Citadel of Bourbonnais is seeking a Housekeeper to join their team! The Housekeeper cleans and services an assigned portion of the facility including furniture, floors, and equipment. Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:

Gathers and disposes of trash ensuring plastic liners are in containers at all times.
Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, stairwells, hallways, metal fixtures, light fixtures, tops of windows, doorframes, and other high places using a step ladder if necessary.
Keeps utility room and housekeeping closets in order and sanitized.
Follows established sanitation and safety standards.
Housekeeper Qualifications and Skills:
~ Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Housekeeper Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Previous institutional Housekeeping experience preferred.
Prior experience working in a long-term care facility a plus.
Able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
