Senior Software Engineering Manage

As a key member of NVIDIA's automotive group, the Senior Software Triage Engineer will support autonomous vehicle (AV) software agile iteration and development. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Model/SW Developers, In‑car testing, and Fleet teams, the engineer will manage test requests, perform live triage, debug, and present findings to ensure high‑quality AV software delivery.
Responsibilities Work with product and engineering teams on test request and triage planning, perform live triage with accurate analysis and debugging steps, and present top issues by end of day.
Deeply understand AD product definition and system specifications; develop and maintain product performance using top‑N triage analysis from in‑car and digital tests.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define test/triage targets, requirements, and processes; supervise and improve triage efficiency and quality.
Automate product critical metric generation and evaluation, represent data on dashboards, and provide triage target vision to support prioritization.
Root cause issues, address problems, and drive them to closure.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
8+ years of proven experience in ADAS/AD vehicle testing, digital offline testing, or triage data analysis.
Strong technical focus with ability to zoom in on details and also view the high‑level vision.
Prior experience in vehicle/system integration, SW component debugging, and large‑scale AD vehicle testing.
Experience troubleshooting and triage workflows, including replay and simulation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting top issues.
Problem‑solving mindset and ownership (“Buck stops with you”).
Preferred Qualifications Strong scripting and tool development skills.
Effective interpersonal skills with proven ability to guide and influence in dynamic environments.
Base salary range: $152,000USD-$253,000USD. Eligible for equity and benefits.
