Buyer - Full time - Supply Chain Purchasing

As a Buyer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the right materials are in place at the right time—supporting both daily operations and larger customer projects.In this role, you’ll have a mix of purchasing, planning, and coordination responsibilities, including:Manage day-to-day buying activities for all production raw materials, project needs, and ad hoc requestsSupport customer orders and expedites, ensuring timely delivery and responsivenessPlace purchase orders for MRP requirements and outside processing needsUpdate and manage purchase orders (delivery dates, pricing, etc.) within SytelineExpedite orders and collaborate with suppliers to keep projects on trackAssist with invoice reconciliation and vendor setup/documentationSupport the warehouse team with overages, shortages, and damaged shipmentsPartner closely with management, warehouse, quality and engineering teams to meet business goalsWork with global teams, Accounts Payable, and internal stakeholders to drive alignment and efficiencyHelp improve processes, tools, and documentation across procurementYou have:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain (or related field) or 3+ years of relevant experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable working with systems and data (Excel required; A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every daynVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
