Emergency Department Mental Health Counselor

INTAKE / ASSESSMENT COUNSELOR Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Intake Counselor with recent behavioral health experience who will ensure that all intake calls are answered promptly and courteously. Provides callers and families with Community Resources and Information; Develops and maintains strong working relationships with Internal and External Customers, including other Departments, Physicians, and the Emergency Departments. Works as a Team Player to ensure Customer Service to patients, families, and other Associates. Responsible for on-site and/or off-site assessments.

Our inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient programs have helped adolescents, adults, older adults and their families.

Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience in a psychiatric setting.
