Surgical Services RN (Perioperative) - Day Shift
Available opportunities in San Pedro, CA
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, 5 days a week from 06:45 AM to 03:15 PM. Requires one Saturday shift in a six-week rotation and on-call shifts.
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Services RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced surgical environment and be open to floating between like units. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgical care.
Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitoring and assessing patient needs during surgical procedures.
Providing education and support to patients and their families.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation in the Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a surgical setting.
BCLS certification is required.
Valid state nursing license (compact license preferred).
Ability to float between like units is necessary.
