Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Accounting Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior staff and managers to provide a range of accounting, and/or tax services to our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.

Participate in audit, review, and compilation engagements for clients across various industries.

Perform accounting procedures, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and financial statement analysis.

Develop an understanding of client businesses and industries.

Maintain organized and accurate workpapers and documentation.

Research accounting and tax issues as needed.

Communicate effectively with team members and occasionally with clients to gather information and resolve queries.

Stay current on accounting pronouncements and tax regulations.

Utilize accounting and tax software effectively.

Adhere to the firm’s policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Eligible to sit for the CPA examination or actively pursuing CPA certification is preferred.

Strong academic record.

Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and/or tax regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Prior internship experience in public accounting is a plus but not required.
