Warehouse Person - Distribution

Join Our Team as an Outbound Warehouse Specialist!
As a vital member of our distribution center, you will perform essential functions including loading, picking, and packing orders for shipment. Our team thrives on efficiency and accuracy, and we need enthusiastic individuals to help maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Locate and pull merchandise accurately by matching item codes with pick tickets. Stage items appropriately for shipment.

Ensure all totes are properly labeled for the correct store and comply with weight restrictions.

Maintain productivity and accuracy standards during the picking process.

Consolidate and pack stock orders swiftly to facilitate efficient customer processing.

Document all products not shipped in totes on the freight bill, ensuring correct routing and totals.

Utilize handheld computers or voice picking equipment to streamline operations.

Verify accuracy of items loaded against freight bills and secure freight efficiently for transport.

Assist in maintaining pick zones and repairing totes as necessary.

Prepare and sort necessary printing materials by area.

Keep work areas organized and free of debris.

Older and experienced team members may act as trainers, guiding new recruits and communicating updates on procedures.

Follow safety protocols and report any unsafe practices.

Perform additional duties as required.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and mathematical skills.

Able to quickly and accurately match numbers and letters.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

Previous warehouse experience is a plus.

Fluent in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
