Epilepsy-trained Neurologist – Albany Medical College The Department of Neurology at Albany Medical College is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologists to join and expand our growing Epilepsy Division of four other neurologists . Albany Medical Center is the only academic medical center in northeastern New York. As a private, non-profit organization, we provide care to more than 3 million people. Our Neurology Department offers established programs in:

General Neurology

Epilepsy

Dementia / Cognitive Neurology

Movement disorders

Neuromuscular disorders

Pediatric neurology

Pain and Headache management

Stroke

Neurocritical Care

PM&R

Position Highlights

Provide patient care in a collaborative environment alongside general and subspecialty neurology colleagues

Teach and supervise medical students, residents, APPs and fellows

Perform and interpret EEG/cEEG/aEEG studies

Monitor patients in a 12-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (adults and peds)

Participate in a strong Epilepsy Surgery Program

Explore plentiful bench or clinical research opportunities

Qualifications

MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology

Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship

Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State

Strong interest in education and mentorship
