Microbiologist Regulatory Reviewer Serves as an expert Microbiologist regulatory reviewer responsible for analyzing and determining the adequacy of data and tests submitted by manufacturers regarding the safety and public health impact of regulated tobacco products.
Reviews a broad range of tobacco products to determine the adequacy of results from microbiology, biology, product engineering, and other studies concerned with exposure and health determinations.
Recognizes the need for and initiates new and amended regulations, policies, and procedures. Recommends new and revised guidelines for regulated products. Initiates, performs, and presents scientific research in state-of-the-art areas of science.
Provides verbal and written conclusions and expert advice to other Federal agencies, industry, universities, and State, local, and foreign governments. Department of Health and Human Services
