Paraeducator - Part-Time

Spiritual Development: Follow Jesus by engaging in prayer and spiritual disciplines, fostering fellowship, growth, health, and relationships within the church community. Create a yearly personal growth plan that encourages solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer, and a sincere commitment to understanding God’s Word. Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community and lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.

Equip leaders, committee members, and staff through key volunteer care, recruiting, team building, training, supervision, and vision casting. Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership, recruit and train new leaders to build a leadership team that reflects the community, and model excellence in contact work, clubs, Campaigners, and camping. Resource Development: Fuel the ministry through events, major donor care, public relations and branding, and support for the TDS team. Raise financial support as directed, maintain good donor care practices, communicate ministry updates and progress to personal donor partners, assist with camp fundraisers, and attend occasional committee and adult functions as assigned.

Actively engage at all three levels of contact work, lead teams to conduct a Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship with excellence, and implement a summer and school‑season camping strategy. Potentially serve on summer staff or assigned staff at a Young Life property with input and direction from the area director.

Take care of business by accounting, administration, internal communication, data management, and strategic planning. Adhere to all Young Life policies and procedures, maintain professionalism concerning office hours, dress, conduct, and time management, set yearly ministry and personal goals and objectives, review them regularly, assist in office administration as needed, complete expense reports promptly, and perform other duties as assigned that are congruent with gifts, experience, and area needs.

Regional and Area Training: Attend regional training events as required. Receive individualized training under the supervision of the area director or assigned mentor, focusing on personal spiritual maturity, character development, and ministry skills (including the 5 C’s). Familiarize with area strategy and ministry health, and receive an introduction to personal fundraising principles, including Basic Elements for Part‑Time Staff.

Education: Pursue a college degree.

Qualifications Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.

Profess a belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord and subscribe to Young Life’s Statement of Faith.
