RN Registered Nurse - Cardiology Ultrasound - Clinic

Provides specialized cardiac catheterization and interventional nursing care for patients before, during, and after procedures. Responsible for patient assessment, procedural assistance, medication administration, and post-procedure education to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
Perform pre-procedure assessments, including safety screenings and patient education regarding the cardiac and radiology procedures.
Monitor patient vitals, administer sedation, and document all relevant clinical information during and after procedures.
Operate and manage advanced cardiac and radiology equipment such as hemodynamic monitors, pacemakers, defibrillators, and TEE devices.
Insert and educate patients on PICC lines, Ambulatory monitors, and other vascular access devices.
Support the transport, recovery, and ongoing care of patients requiring high-level interventions such as intraaortic balloon pumps or Impella devices.
Valid active Michigan RN license and current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably with cardiology, radiology, or interventional procedures.
Proven ability to perform invasive vascular access, monitor sedation, and operate advanced cardiac equipment.
Experience with PICC line placement using ultrasound guidance is preferred.
