Corporate and Securities law Attorney

A well-established, business-focused law firm with a strong national footprint is seeking a Corporate Securities Attorney to join its New York City office. This is an in-office role for an attorney who enjoys working closely with founders, investors, and growth-stage companies across a wide range of industries.About the RoleYou will support a thriving corporate practice advising private and public companies on securities compliance, capital markets transactions, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. The position offers hands-on work, direct client interaction, and the chance to help shape strategic decisions for emerging and established businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on securities law compliance, including Reg D, Reg CF, and other private offering frameworksSupport capital raises, venture financings, and related corporate transactionsDraft and negotiate corporate and securities documents with precision and business awarenessGuide clients on corporate governance, disclosure obligations, and compliance best practicesManage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detailCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive transactions forwardRequirements5+ years of corporate and securities experience at a law firmStrong understanding of private offerings, securities exemptions, and compliance obligationsSolid drafting, negotiation, and analytical skillsAbility to manage complex workstreams independentlyExcellent communication skills and a client-first mindsetJ.D. from an accredited law schoolAdmission to practice in New York and in good standingCompensationSalary range: 180,000 - 220,000 USD, depending on experience.Benefits-HEALTH, DENTAL, VISION -PTO -TECH ALLOWANCE -BONUS -ETC.
