Job Description Title: Cost Accountant
We’re looking for a hands-on Cost Accountant to support a manufacturing plant with full ownership of cost accounting, inventory, and ERP processes. This is not a sit-back reporting role, this person will be in the details, partnering with operations, and driving real cost improvements. Own standard costing, cost rolls, and variance analysis (labor, overhead, yield)
Lead month-end close for cost + inventory within ERP
Monitor inventory accuracy, movements, and adjustments
Analyze profitability, absorption, and plant performance metrics
Act as ERP (OCHMS) business process owner for cost + inventory modules
Partner with operations to identify cost savings opportunities
Ensure strong internal controls and audit readiness

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related

• 3–5 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing
• Variance analysis
• Inventory accounting
• Exposure to internal controls / audit processes
• CPA or CMA (or working toward it)
