Registered Nurse (RN) OpportunityUPMC is currently searching for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for our outpatient Digestive Disease Center. This is a salaried Professional Staff Nurse, OP position with regularly scheduled shifts Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends or major holidays (7 paid holidays/yr). Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Act 34 with renewalBasic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hireRegistered Nurse (RN) OR *Temporary Practice Permit (TPP) Current Pennsylvania nursing license, or a multistate license issued by an NLC?participating state. Employees working on an out?of?state NLC license who later establish residency in Pennsylvania must apply for a PA Nursing license within 60 days of their residency change.
