Personal & Commercial Banking Job Description:
This role plays a vital role in bringing TDs human relationship driven banking experience to life. delivering everyday banking with accuracy confidence and clarity while helping clients feel informed supported and empowered to achieve their financial goals while upholding TDs strong risk and regulatory standards.
First point of contact for clients as they serve as the hospitality ambassador of the bank location seamlessly guiding traffic flow while delivering a high touch client experience
Delivers accurate efficient everyday banking transactions while deepening relationships by proactively identifying needs and opportunities that will help clients reach their financial goals and referring clients to appropriate partners to help achieve their financial objectives
Engages clients with professionalism with a focus on educating on appropriate products and self-serve solutions while using insights on recommending solutions for turning routine client transactions into meaningful moments
Demonstrates knowledge of basic banking products and services to utilize insights tools and resources to evaluate and recommend client solutions
Performs a broad range of client transactions and multi-step activities within established financial limits
High school diploma or GED

• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred
• Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

~ Customer Accountabilities:
Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone) serving as the first point of contact for client inquiries issue resolution and referrals to appropriate partners
Serves as a hospitality ambassador for the financial center delivering consistent relationship-driven client experiences aligned to TDs service strategy
Balances client needs with sound judgment policy adherence and risk awareness to ensure compliant and responsible outcomes
Proactively educates clients on banking products services and digital capabilities to enhance convenience save time and support financial well-being while connecting them to specialists as needed to achieve long-term goals
Maintains compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations to minimize risk and protect the client
Acts as a trusted first point of contact in safeguarding the integrity of the client relationship by operating within compliance of AML laws and regulatory requirements by accurately verifying client identification maintaining data integrity and following established authentication and documentation standards
Identifies potential discrepancies material changes or risk indicators and escalates appropriately in accordance with policy and procedure
Protects TDs clients colleagues and the Bank - Do the right thing -own it raise it know it
Completes required training and continuously strengthens risk and compliance knowledge
Contributes to a positive work environment by aligning to TD Model Brand and Culture by participating fully as a member of the team
Takes accountability for outcomes and performance by participating in performance and development activities; Domestic Travel Occasional
