About the Position

Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting during overnight shifts
Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret findings to support patient care decisions
Establish and maintain IV access and manage PICC lines
Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation procedures
Support lumbar puncture procedures as part of the clinical care team
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
Minimum of 1 year and 6 months of registered nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Demonstrated experience with conscious sedation
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an emergency room or medical-surgical setting
Experience assisting with lumbar puncture procedures
Familiarity with PICC line insertion and management
