Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lillington, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 48 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 4x12hrs\n Hours: 48 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 2\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring 3 years of ER experience and NC or compact licensure.Details\n \n General Emergency Department serving combined adult/pediatric population\n 1:4 patient ratio\n Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-7:00)\n 36 hours per week with every other weekend required\n Holiday coverage required\n Must float to all Harnett Health locations, including both campuses, as needed\n No on-call responsibilities\n Uses Epic charting system\n Requirements\n \n Active NC or compact RN license required, pending license not accepted\n Minimum of 3 years of ER experience required\n Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, NIHSS\n Preferred certifications: NRP, TNCC\n Epic EMR experience required\n Prior charge experience preferred\n Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, central line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, and administration of emergency medications\n Experience with psychiatric, drug overdose, and suicidal patients required\n Experience obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG and interpreting/managing dysrhythmias required\n Arterial line management and blood product administration preferred skills\n Must pass Advanced EKG exam as part of compliance\n No background or license actions within the past 12 months\n SSN and DOB required for consideration\n Previous travel experience required\n Additional Information\n \n Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds\n Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure\n Cardiac monitoring and emergency response responsibilities\n Scrub color is royal blue and white\n Facility-required modules must be completed prior to start, estimated 4-10 hours\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Local candidates within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible\n Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler\n Maximum RTO of 4 days permitted, subject to manager's discretion\n Only one major holiday RTO request may be accommodated\n Night shift travelers may extend up to two times before requiring a 6-month break before reapplying\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-754868.
