Head of Programme Management

This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

We have the flexibility to manage our work and personal needs. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead multi-functional programs through the development and implementation lifecycle. This role has a direct impact on the delivery of HPE products and services by managing schedules, budgets, and cross-company communications. The preferred candidate brings a strong blend of technical acumen, leadership capability, and program management expertise.

Manage and lead programs involving multiple functions and project teams to drive engineering development and implementation for product or service offerings.

Oversee activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners, adjusting schedules and resources based on analysis of business information to meet product requirements.

Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with management and internal partners to resolve escalated issues and ensure adherence to budgets and roadmaps.

Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects within the manufacturing and engineering organization.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.

Typically, 6+ years of relevant program or project management experience.

PMP/PMI certification preferred.

Flexible working hours and schedule to coordinate across global teams.

Demonstrated success managing all aspects of programs, including scope, schedule, budget, and cross-functional resource coordination.

Proven ability to communicate program plans, proposals, and results and negotiate options at senior management levels.

Extensive experience with project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.

Familiarity with engineering development processes, product lifecycle management, and quality frameworks.
