Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 3 shifts/week including rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday for days)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
Care for post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placement patients, and stroke patients
Administer and monitor cardiac drips including amiodarone and Cardizem
Utilize facility EMR (Meditech), Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allyn vitals equipment
Float as needed to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure valid in Missouri (or compact eligibility)
ACLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
Experience with post-cath recovery (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, and cardiac drip management
Preferred Experience / Skills
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or experience
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
Experience in a high-volume cardiac telemetry setting
