MedSurg RN - Weekend Only Nights

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

RN - MedSurg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 12-hour day/night variable shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float requirements to all inpatient units
• Post Surgical Care Unit providing care for pre and post-surgical adults and geriatric patients on a 40-bed inpatient unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 or 1:5 on days/evenings and 1:5-7 on nights
• Fast-paced unit averaging 10-15 admissions per day with occupancy at 90-95% during the week and average length of stay of 2-3 days
• Must have ability to multitask, prioritize patient care based on acuity, and work as a team
• Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps
• Epic charting experience required
• Scrub color: any color
• Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience required with recent hospital experience
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License and BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Required education: Associate Degree or Certificate
• Preferred education: Bachelor's Degree

The unit operates at high occupancy and provides care to adult and geriatric populations, supported by modern technology and a collaborative team environment.
