Sonographer Team Lead- Ultrasound

Sonographer CoordinatorCoordinates and organizes day to day sonography operations, including work assignments of the sonographers, diagnostic imaging aides, and students. Expertly performs routine and specialized sonography procedures of high complexity to produce quality images to physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Implements and updates policies, procedures and protocols to streamline workflow, improve efficiency, and strengthen radiation protection/safety measures. Ensures the timely delivery of accurate imaging services and oversees the efficient maintenance and operation of all radiological equipment. Serves as the liaison between Diagnostic Imaging and staff, physicians, patients, family and other hospital staff. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.EducationGraduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
