Dental Hygienist Full Time

Sonrisas and Smiles Dental Care Schedule (Fall 2025):

Experience: New graduates welcome!

Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments

Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)

Help maintain a clean and welcoming clinical environment

A licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Virginia (or able to obtain licensure by start date)

Open, positive, and flexible in their approach to patient care and teamwork

Current dental hygienist license

Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation

Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems

Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health

Clinical needs as required by office

Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
