We are hiring a Staff Pharmacist for our growing team! The pharmacist will be primarily responsible for dispensing medications. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.

Pharmacist Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals for patient care; Direct pharmacy technicians engaged in mixing, packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals

Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs

Enter data such as patient name, prescribed medication and cost

Instruct interns and other medical personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacy

Pharmacist Experience and Educations Requirements:

• Requires a Doctorate Degree of Pharmacy
• 1-2 years of pharmacist experience preferred but not required
• Requires a Kentucky Pharmacist License
• Strong emotional maturity and intelligence

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response

Demonstrate ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
