Langley Federal Credit Union is currently hiring for a Full Time Mortgage Loan Closerto work a hybrid schedule from our Oyster Point Office located in Newport News, VA.
Closes and funds first mortgage loans. Works with closing agents, attorneys, and members to facilitate loan closing and funding. Assembles all final documentation while ensuring closings meet TRID, investor, and policy requirements. Balances general ledger accounts related to mortgage transaction production reports.

Closes and funds all first mortgage loans.
Prepares closing packages accurately and meets compliance requirements for individual loan types in accordance with the credit union and investor guidelines and secondary marketing requirements.
Submits wire request for mortgage funding
Manages pipeline and lock expirations.
Two years of real estate loan closing experience or equivalent working experience and training are required.
