CNC Machinist - Temporary

Machinist
We are seeking a skilled machinist who can expertly set up and program Haas Mills using machine controls. The ideal candidate will conduct quality checks using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers, and will work with CNC vertical and horizontal mills to create parts based on blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities

Set up and program Haas Mills using machine controls.
Conduct quality checks using micrometers and calipers.
Operate CNC vertical and horizontal mills.
Create parts from blueprints and schematics to meet precise specifications.
Learn and apply CAD/CAM programming.
Differentiate between various materials.
Maintain tolerances under.1000.
Essential Skills

Experience with CNC milling.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience with Haas Mills and micrometers.
Ability to use calipers and vertical mills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

~ Experience with CAD/CAM is a plus.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elsmere, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
