Security Professional - Graveyard Shift

AC Hotel Waterfront Vancouver is currently seeking a Security Guard (Part Time - Graveyard Shift) to join our growing Hospitality team!

The Hotel Security Guard helps create a safe, welcoming environment for guests, employees, visitors, property, and assets at AC Hotel Waterfront Vancouver. Protect guests, employees, visitors, hotel property, and assets while maintaining a calm and professional presence.

Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, entrances, exits, restricted areas, and other access points in accordance with hotel procedures.

Conduct regular patrols of assigned indoor and outdoor areas and report safety, security, maintenance, or guest concerns.

Document incidents, observations, access issues, and follow-up actions accurately and promptly.

Enforce hotel policies and security procedures consistently, respectfully, and without discrimination.

Assist guests professionally by providing directions, answering basic questions, and connecting them with the appropriate hotel team.

Coordinate with police, fire services, medical responders, and other emergency services when appropriate or directed by hotel procedures.

Maintain confidentiality when handling guest information, employee matters, investigations, reports, and security-related information.

Complete shift handoffs and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized hotel departments.

May provide guests with directions accurately and is familiar with the local area.

At least one year hotel, hospitality, guest-services, loss-prevention, public-safety, or securityexperience.

High School diploma or GED.

Must be able to read, write ad speak English.

Customer service experience.

Ability to read, write, and complete security logs and incident reports accurately.

Basic comfort using CCTV, access-control systems, radios, phones, and digital reporting tools, with training provided as applicable.

Willing to work in flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.
