Assembly Welder | Welding | 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Job Shop Welder- 2nd Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $26.28 with $1.20 shift differential per hour.
As a Welder you will be responsible for welding assemblies and components using welding equipment. You will interpret drawings and shop orders to perform welding operations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

• Retrieve/enter data into system.
• Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

~ Working knowledge of operations, to include TIG, MIG of aluminum and/or stainless steel

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered
• Spot-welding experience
• Basic computer skills
• with assistance occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
• Requires PPE to include safety glasses, safety-toe shoes, ear protection, cut resistant sleeves, and any other PPE required by the position.
• Environment exposure includes sharp objects, pinch points, oil, sparks
