As an Infection Preventionist, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the health of our patients, staff, and community by planning, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention and control measures. Why Henry Ford Health

Report infection surveillance, prevention, and control information to local, state, and federal public health authorities as required by law.
Participate in special studies to identify epidemic situations or evaluate the impact of new products, equipment, or patient care delivery methods, and report results to relevant committees.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Certification specializing in Infection Control credentialed from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) or Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing.
Infection prevention acute care experience preferred.
