Head of Marketing and Advertising

Robert Morris University is hiring a Marketing Manager. The role leads marketing for the UPMC Events Center, a 161,000-square-foot, 4,000+ seat arena on campus, developing campaigns that promote concerts, sporting events, and shows to the campus and broader community. Reporting to the Events Center General Manager, the manager also drives the venue's social media presence and media buying across digital, radio, print, TV, and outdoor platforms.

Highlights Develop and execute marketing plans and budgets for concerts, sporting events, and shows.

Design campaigns tailored to promote artists and tours at the venue.

Manage the venue's brand voice and engagement across social media platforms.

Oversee media buying and cash/trade proposals across digital, radio, print, TV, and outdoor platforms.

Prepare press releases and maintain relationships with local media partners.

Run email marketing and digital promotions to drive ticket sales.

Collaborate with RMU Athletics and the Box Office to cross-promote events.

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 3-5+ years in marketing or advertising; arena or venue marketing experience preferred.

Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays tied to the event calendar.
