Auditor - Accounting / Finance

We are seeking experienced public accounting professionals for an auditor position. Job Responsibilities for the Auditor:

Plan, organize, and perform financial and compliance statement audits of nonprofit and governmental entities.
Ensure all audit activities align strictly with GAAP, GAAS, GASB, and Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book).
Analyze, evaluate, and document internal accounting controls, identifying weaknesses and providing recommendations for process improvements.
Prepare clear, thorough, and concise audit reports, disclosures, and footnote documentation.
Actively interact with client management teams to gather information, resolve technical issues, and deliver audit findings.
Provide direction, supervision, constructive feedback, and professional coaching to junior staff and interns.
Qualifications for the Auditor:
Minimum of two (2) years of public accounting audit experience specifically focused on nonprofit and/or governmental sectors.
Deep understanding of GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS (Yellow Book), and general governmental accounting principles.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related quantitative business field. Active CPA license or a current CPA-track status is highly preferred.
Previous Tax experience is a huge plus.
