Barista needed for Downtown Cafe and Bistro

BARISTA
SANA's brand new retail studio in the heart of Downtown Detroit will feature a fully functional matcha and espresso bar, and we are currently seeking Baristas to join us! The position features a six-month placement at the Downtown Detroit location, with opportunities to grow as we work to expand our SANA CAFE footprint. Our goal is to create an exceptionally intentional and well crafted experience for every guest.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
At least 1 year of prior Barista experience.
Skilled in espresso machinery and techniques like milk texturing and grind dialing.
Impeccable hospitality and professionalism amongst customers and coworkers.
Experienced in high-volume caf service is preferred, but not required
Requirements:
Prepare hot/cold matcha and espresso latts following our recipes.
Educate customers on our products and preparation of beverages if inquired.
Provide recommendations to accommodate customers' needs.
Build positive and strong rapport with customers.
Follow opening, closing and all other daily operating procedures accordingly.
Maintain a sanitary and presentable work space at all times.
Cultivate and preserve an uplifting work environment amongst your fellow SANA CAFE community.
