Immigration Paralegal

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is a national law firm with a proven reputation for providing progressive, industry-leading legal, business, regulatory and government relations advice to our regional, national and international clients.

We are searching for an Immigration Paralegal in our New York City, Washington, DC, Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, PA office. You will be a valuable member of a friendly, collaborative team working directly with the Chair of the Immigration Practice.

Manage immigration and visa-related data and assist immigration attorneys with document review and all aspects of case preparation.

Draft forms and petition support letters.

Manage PERM timelines and document collection.

Perform special projects and other assignments as requested by attorneys or others by establishing priorities and proactively anticipating attorney and client needs.

Bachelor's Degree, required.

• 3-5+ years' experience preparing a full range of business immigration petitions and applications for corporate clients, including H, L, TN, O, J, E, PERM, AOS, National Interest Waiver, EB-1, etc.
• Experience working with immigration case management systems (INSZoom preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft applications with advanced level in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and case tracking databases.
• Proven writing ability with strong attention to detail.
• Takes initiative and works with minimal supervision.

Pay ranges are provided in compliance with S9427A, New York's pay transparency law and S32-1453.01 Washington, DC's pay transparency law; actual pay may vary based on a variety of factors, including education, applicable experience, etc.
