Tru Family Dental in Westchester, IL is hiring for a part-time Dental Hygienist!

Schedule - Open to any 2 of the following weekdays: Monday 8:30am-6:00pm

Tuesday 7:30am-5:00pm

Wednesday 8:30am-6:00pm

Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm

In addition to 2 days/week, the office requires 1 Saturday per month from 7:30am-2:00pm Interested in more hours? As a team member, you will have access to HD Flex allowing you to pick up additional shifts on a flexible schedule that works for you! You will also have the ability to pick up regular hours at a near office to round out the schedule to full-time.

This role will have opportunity for a full-time schedule at Tru Family Dental - Westchester within 6 months of starting.

Patient Schedule 60 minute prophys and recalls

90 minute SRPs

90 minute New Patient appointments

Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)

Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation

CPR Certification

Preferred Experience Open to new graduates and experienced hygienists!

Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems

Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health

Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position

Prolonged periods sitting and standing

Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times

Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
