Substitute Teacher Responsibilities As a Substitute Teacher , you will:

Follow teacher lesson plans and guide students through daily instruction

Maintain a structured, respectful, and productive classroom environment

Manage student behavior and keep students engaged throughout the school day

Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess as needed

Communicate effectively with school administrators and staff regarding student behavior or concerns

Qualifications

Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree

At least one year of childcare, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or related experience preferred
