The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic general Obstetrician-gynecologist to join the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an outstanding obstetrician-gynecologist for a full-time position within the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians who are interested in resident education and direct patient care in an academic center. Members of the division supervise resident continuity clinics, gynecologic teaching services, and provide in-hospital gynecologic consultation.
Additionally, they have an active role in medical student education. The division has an active faculty practice at 5 outpatient sites and one labor and delivery facility. Providers include 26 obstetrician-gynecologists, 4 gynecologists, and 16 nurse-midwives. Faculty expertise includes minimally invasive surgery, family planning, vulvar disease, menopause, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding.
Successful completion of an accredited residency training program
Obtain a licensure from the State of Ohio Medical Board
Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with titles of assistant professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical and professor-clinical. These faculty will have earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field. Their principal career focus is the delivery of exemplary clinical care, and may include teaching, and/or research.
