Compensation:

Hourly Rate: Up to $68/hour (for candidates holding an active Maryland Local Anesthesia Permit).

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our privately owned dental practice in Bowie, MD. Unlike many larger organizations, our practice is independently owned and operated-not part of a DSO. With 60-minute hygiene appointments and no assisted hygiene , you'll have the opportunity to practice the way you were trained-focusing on exceptional preventive care, periodontal therapy, patient education, and long-term oral health.

Our practice utilizes Eaglesoft practice management software and prides itself on maintaining a collaborative, supportive culture where every team member is valued and empowered to provide the highest level of care.

Located in Bowie, MD, you'll enjoy the convenience of a central location with easy access to Washington, D.C., Annapolis, and Baltimore while maintaining an outstanding work-life balance with a four-day work week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care during 60-minute patient appointments.

Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, and preventive hygiene procedures.

Conduct comprehensive periodontal evaluations and oral cancer screenings.

Take and interpret digital dental radiographs.

Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive treatment recommendations.

Accurately document patient medical histories, periodontal findings, and treatment using Eaglesoft.

Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Maintain OSHA and infection control standards while supporting an efficient clinical workflow.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Maryland.

Local Anesthesia Permit required to qualify for the maximum compensation of up to $68/hour.

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Experience with Eaglesoft is preferred but not required.

Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Passion for providing comprehensive, relationship-based care.
